Sure, our products were made with your face in mind, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t also work wonders for the rest of your skin, especially your hands in this case. After all, we’re self-proclaimed microbiome geeks and are all about products and ingredients that help support this outermost layer of bacteria, essential for protecting the skin and keeping it healthy and hydrated.
Moisturizers: All of our moisturizers contain a blend of prebiotics which are designed to support the good bacteria on your skin, which in turn help to combat dry skin. They work by promoting the production of natural moisturizing oils. In fact, two of our moisturizers, Opening Act No.351 and Cool on Cue No.224, contain a prebiotic that’s specially formulated to support the good bacteria and help combat dry skin, and help balance the skin’s microbiome even after using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. The bottom line? If you have one of these moisturizers and your hands are suffering, go ahead and start using it as a hand cream.
Serums: All of our serums contain Niacinamide, we see it as a bit of a superhero ingredient for skin. But in this case it’s particularly great at supporting your skin barrier, aka your outermost layer of skin. It does this by promoting your skin’s production of its own natural moisturizing factors. More natural moisturizing factors mean a stronger, healthier skin barrier, which is more resilient i.e. it’s better at keeping the good stuff in and the bad stuff out.
Body Washes: Our body washes Like to Move It No.319 and Rock the Boat No.489 are sulfate-free and designed to be used all over the body – hands included. Use a pea-sized amount as they’re super concentrated, so a little goes a long way! But they’re perfect for gently cleansing the skin without stripping it. Perfect for head to toe cleansing.
